    Description

    Another sweet Whimsical Whittler called : "NUTCRACKER SANTA" . Hand carved by Vaughn Rawson and painted by his wife Stephanie in 1999. He is signed and dated on the bottom.  Christmas and the musical "The Nutcracker" go hand and hand with the Christmas Season. He stands about 10" tall and his base is 3 3/4" X 2 3/4". He is wearing the traditional red coat holding a staff in one hand and a hand carved tiny Nutcracker in the other hand. On his back is a carved knapsack with toys and greens. When I unpacked him I think there may be missing one little toy on the top of one of the presents as I see a little residue of glue. This by no means diminishes this wonderful piece of Folk Art made in America . Buyers please note I must charge sales tax where applicable. Thank you for visiting my site.
