VINTAGE ‘WOOLCRAFT’ PATONS & BALDWIN KNITTING BOOKS with terrific ARTS & CRAFTS COVERS, 1920s.
Measure approx 9 3/4” by 6 1/4” and 84 pages.
Books are in good condition for 100 years. both show some corner and edge bumping/folding.
Issue with blue cover is intact and complete; has some penciled marks on back.
Issue with orange/brown cover is complete; covers are wrapped around intact issue but loose of staples.
Contents (same categories both issues, different patterns): Babies’ suits, frocks, matinee coats (?!?); bonnets and caps; knickers, underpants, vest, petticoat, overalls, romper; blankets, shawls and bed-wrap; cardigans, waistcoats, pull-overs and jerseys; mittens, gloves, bootees, slippers, bed socks and knee caps (?); socks and stockings.
