This is a BIG impressive model!A beautiful and very scarce LARGE detailed 3-D wood model of the South Carolina State Capitol Building in Columbia S.C made by Shelia
Dated 1991 and made in South Carolina.
Made with a special 3D effect using two layers of wood with cutouts that makes the building look very realistic.
The Capitol Building, begun in 1851, would survive the fires of General William Tecumseh Sherman in 1865
Hand lettered description of the history of the building on the back
This wood model has virtually no visible wear - even edges and corners are clean and crisp. No breaks, no scuffs, no labels or residue.
