'Hand Crochet by Royal Society for Babies' Dated 1948 Vintage Baby Patterns. The pamphlet is 8 1/2" by 11."
This 35 page black and white pamphlet of baby patterns is dated 1948 and was priced at 25 cents! This pattern must have once been my mother's or my aunt's. These are truly old-fashioned patterns for the nostalgic stitcher!
The patterns use yarns as follows: six cord mercerized crochet, royal perle, royal mouline, baby perle.
Patterns include:
lacy crochet sacque, cap and bootees, Irish crochet dress, creeper, pram set, carriage set, dress, toy and rug, bib, Susan doll, pinafore, pull on pants, playsuit, cardigans, panties, coat hangars and more!
There is evidence that the binding once had tape on it, some tape remains. But the pages are all intact.
