    Description

Nice condition - I had a hard time deciding to part with this neat bottle.
Handblown crown top Schlitz pony beer bottle possibly from Milwaukee, Wisconsin - (it could be a branch bottle).  7 1/4  inches tall. This is a proprietary mold, not a plate mold bottle.  Pale blue aqua in color.
MB&GCo is unlisted as a glassmaker.
Bottle is embossed Schlitz on the front of the bottle.
Embossed THIS BOTTLE / IS NEVER SOLD on the back heel.
    Embossed M.B & G . CO. / I on the bottom.
Bottle was manufactured between 1901 and 1904 by the Massillon Bottle & Glass Co. of Massillon, Ohio.  Massillon was in business from 1901 to 1904, merging with Streator Bottle & Glass Co. in 1905.
Bottle does NOT say Wisconsin or Milwaukee.
Nice condition.  Bottle is clean inside and out - no cloudiness.  No chips, bruises or cracks.  There is a 1 1/8 inch vertical mark left by another bottle sticking to this one, right after they were blown - it is to the lower left of the S in Schlitz - see middle of last photo.  Very light casewear.
    Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
