This set includes 10 bait stakes, 10 bait stations and 1 auger to predrill the hole for your stake to rest in.
The number of stakes you need depends on the size of your house excluding garage, porches, patios, attached decks.
Homes up to 1200sqft usually use up to 10 stakes
Homes 1200-2500sqft can usually be covered with 20 stakes
Stakes should be placed every 8-10 feet arpund the perimeter of your home. No more than 10ft apart and approximately 2-3ft but no more than 3ft from the foundation.
Once stakes are in their locator stations and in the ground, check the pop up indicator. When termites enter the stakes, the pop up indicator will rise to show termite activity.
Check every 3 months unless uou live in an area with subterrainian termites then you should check monthly.
If a stake shows termite activity, install 3 or more new stakes approximately 1ft apart from the activated stake and note the date.
All stakes should be replaced every 12 months
