    Description

    For sale here is a nice pair of matching, antique, aqua & amber, Lady’s Leg style, Pre-Prohibition, embossed, crown top beer bottles from Baltimore, Maryland. Both bottles are embossed THE GEORGE GUNTHER JR. BREWING CO. around the shoulder. Also embossed BALTIMORE, MD. / REGISTERED on the front heel. What is unusual is the aqua is embossed CONTENTS 12 FL. OZ. on the back heel and the amber is embossed CONTENTS 12 1/2 FL. OZ. on the back heel. Clearly 2 different molds were used. Both bottles likely date to the 1910s. Both are just over 9.5 inches tall. The amber one has some chipping/roughness on the inner lip and more haze/wear. The aqua also has scratches, wear, and spots of haze/stain. Both bottles were dug but they display well overall. Please review photos before bidding/purchasing. Please feel free to ask any questions and check out my other items.
