    Description

You have found a Ball Bearing Guide for the Powermatic 14" Band Saw!
PLEASE: Observe the “WILL ITFIT?” picture
This guide installs in the ½” hole at the bottom of the OEM post.
This guide is an affordable double ball bearing guide for the Powermatic 14” band saws Model 141 and 143.
The assembly is easily and simply convertible to handle various blade widths, from 1/8” to ½” in the single bearing mode, and 5/8” to ¾” in the double bearing mode.
This guide will improve the accuracy, performance, blade life while providing a smoother running saw. It eliminates the metal-on-metal wear of guide blocks and the constant need of adjustment in an effort to control the blade.
This upper guide provides the majority of control for the blade as it enters the material. Because the blade is virtually locked straight ahead.
A manual is included for adjusting blade tension, blade tracking, installation and adjusting, etc.
    Benefits over other setups:
    ·
No aluminum or die cast parts
    ·
No scraping along the side of a backup bearing
    ·
    Formed/ welded Steel construction
    ·
All the moving parts are easily replaceable
    ·
    Grade 8 Fasteners
    ·
Precision ball bearings are lubricated and sealed
    ·
The installation and adjustment are simple
    Hand made IN THE USA!

What is your craft? Our craft is making these guides…to support your passion.
Others offer guides with components made by machines. Probably hundreds of parts at a time…focused on volume.
The Replacement Ball Bearing Guide is made completely by hand…probably like whatever you plan to make.
We start with sheet steel, shear it, and hand form each individual blank before we individually, hand weld your guide. Why? Because we are focused on workmanship, not high volume.
