25 Different Date/MM One Cent Clipped Planchet Coins 2 are Steel. Collection Starter, OR(?)
These twenty-five US Cents all exhibit metal flow diagnostic characteristics for mint-made pre-strike planchet ‘clips’(incomplete planchets).
Six different design/planchet types are represented. TWO are Steel, one is copper-nickel, the rest are copper. They cover a time span of 104 years. All are circulated (but not that much, as the pictures show).
The dates included are: 1857(FE), 1883, 1902, 1907, 1908, 1920-P, 1929-P, 1934-P, 1936-P, 1937-P, 1938-P, 1941-P, 1943-P, 1943-D, 1944-P, 1945-P, 1950-P, 1950-D, 1950-S, 1951-S, 1953-P, 1956-P, 1958-D, 1960-P(L), 1961-P.
They could round out a clipped Planchet type set, start or add to a clip date set of small cents,
or of error coins, in general.
They are offered for bids as a lot--the successful bidder will receive all twenty-five (all shown in the listing photos).
