Here you have a wonderful bit of VINTAGE DONALD DUCK & ANTI-NAZI MEMORABILIA! Please...SEE THE SCANS! This is A DISNEY ART FEATURE in a complete 1942 issue of CORONET Magazine. This includes a great inside article entitled "DONALD DUCK GOES TO WAR". (Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck are in for the war's duration, romping and squawking to a purpose in the special wartime job Uncle Sam assigned them.) This also has a wonderful fold-out Disney artwork image of DONALD DUCK as a MARINE leading Disney characters to war. These include MICKEY and MINNIE MOUSE, Some of the SEVEN DWARFS, the THREE PIGS, DUMBO, BAMBI Characters, and more! There is also a key to this illustration elsewhere. In the air is also a mosquito carrying a torpedo. This is representative of the NAVY P.T. BOAT! Nice article! Nice Illustrations! On the back of the color artwork is the 12 PANEL STRIP FEATURING HITLER & THE DEVIL: "STOP THAT TANK!" The fold-out measures 11 inches X 5.5 inches. This foldout is still attached to the magazine just as it was when this was sold in 1942... Besides the images in the scan, there are 4 more illustrations here too! Coronet Magazine in this era is an upscale digest full of photos, art and articles that touch on themes of the day.
