Antique Wyeth's Effervescing SODIUM PHOSPHATE (blue cobalt bottle)

Description

An interesting bottle. The only side without paper has embossed JOHN WYETH & BRO.  The same bottle was used for many products and other words were intentionally misspelled to make them fit this bottle.  Removable glass cap over the cork, was used as a measurement for contents.  By turning the cap you could see when you should take the next dose.  Eventually, Wyeth was bought out by Pfizer.  Bottle is approx. 6" tall & 2' square.  Recycling had begun over 100 years ago, because cash refunds were given to any bottles returned to Wyeth in Phila.
