    Beer Bottle
    Welcome.
    This is a vintage beer bottle from the Illinois Glass Company. The company's logo of a diamond with an 'I' in the middle is embossed on the bottom. There is also a number 2. I am not certain of the age. I believe it is circa 1900. It is somewhat scratched up which is to be expected considering its age and the years it was abandoned outdoors. But, the are no cracks or chips that I can see or feel. The bottle is a 3 piece mold with a big pontil on the bottom. It weighs 15 ounces. It measure 8.25 inches tall x 3.1 inches at the shoulder & 2.6 inches at the base. Please see the photos and video for a full description. And feel free to contact me with any questions.
