    Description

    For sale here is a pair of early, antique, Pre-Prohibition, embossed, crown top beer bottles. The J. F. Wiessner & Sons Brewing Co., Baltimore, MD. with large shield, monogram and hop leaves as embossed on the left bottle in amber. This one has large chunks out of the heel/base area as shown. Also a Frank Steil Brewing Company, Independent, nice large shield and logo, Baltimore, MD in aqua as embossed on the right. This one has some inner lip chipping. Both hold around 12 ounces and are between 9.25 and 9.75 inches in height. They likely date to around 1910. Both bottles have overall scratches and groundwear as well as staining and haze from being dug. They still display well. Please review photos before bidding/purchasing.
