I would recommend this band for large aluminum castings. It has excellent shock resistance. This Starrett carbide tipped blade will save you money by lasting much longer than standard bimetal blades. If you need a carbide blade for super tough alloys then use our Starrett Type III carbide or drop us a message for a recommendation.
